Arean på en friggebod får högst vara 15 kvm. Det går också bra att ha flera friggebodar på sammanlagt 15 kvm. Friggebodens höjd får max vara 3 meter från medelmarknivå till taknock.

Behövs bygglov för att bygga en friggebod?

Nej, du behöver normalt inte söka bygglov för att sätta upp en friggebod på din tomt. Friggeboden är en bygglovsbefriad komplementbyggnad, vilket betyder att den är ett komplement till ett befintligt bostadshus eller fritidshus, och den behöver uppfylla kriterierna för friggebod, exempelvis gällande storlek och placering. I undantagsfall kan kommuner i detaljplan eller områdesbestämmelser, ha bestämt att bygglov ska krävas för en friggebod i det specifika området.

Hur nära grannen får jag bygga min friggebod?

Avstånd från friggebod till tomtgräns mot granne, gata, väg, allmänning eller grönyta ska vara minst 4,5 meter. I många fall kan grannen godkänna att friggeboden placeras närmre än 4,5 meter, och det är du som bygger som ska se till att medgivande finns från samtliga berörda grannar vid en sådan placering.

Kan jag bygga altan till min friggebod?

Det är tillåtet att bygga en veranda eller altan till din friggebod. Det är dock viktigt att du har koll på hur denna ska utformas för att anses vara bygglovsbefriad. Vad mer ska jag tänka på innan jag sätter upp min friggebod?

Har du tänkt att placera friggeboden inom strandskyddsområde, normalt inom 100 meter från hav, sjö eller vattendrag, behöver du enligt miljöbalken ansöka om tillstånd, så kallad strandsskyddsdispens.

Behöver en friggebod uppfylla regler om brandspridning?

Nej, en friggebod behöver inte uppfylla reglerna om skydd mot brandspridning mellan byggnader (BBR 5:61), även om den placeras i nära anslutning till befintligt hus. Däremot gäller fortfarande övriga regler i BBR. Friggebodar från Enkelrum uppfyller brandklass EI30 i ytterväggar och fönster kan brandklassas beroende på Enkelrummets placering.

Can I customize my Enkelrum?

Absolutely! We’re always excited to take on new and different projects, explore our Enkelville map to see from some of our custom[er’s] projects.

How long does it take?

Around 6-8 weeks from order date to delivery. But sometimes we’re the hottest thing since sliced bread, which means our diary (and workshop) can get full, quick! Get in contact for a current time estimate.
